Under Uranus, Adam the Man arises,
With great authority, speaking “I know”;
His mind alive with fickle surprises,
Expanding like a ball of heated dough.
This child gleans thoughts as if from waking dreams
A thinker not to most conventions bound
And while the airy mind moves to extremes,
Its logic and invention are quite sound.
So great is this child’s brain capacity,
So insightful, so clever and erudite,
It brings dispassionate audacity
That every thought this air-mind forms is right.
May this child, conjuring cerebral tricks
Not be to certainty too blindly fixed.
